Obituary

 

Edra M. Enfinger Parker, age 92, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Big Bend Hospice House, Tallahassee, FL. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of First Baptist Church of Marianna. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She had worked as a beautician, Avon sales representative and dental assistant before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilburn Wilson Enfinger and John Gorden Parker; parents, lvey Webster and Sarah (Ella) Peacock McLane; stepson John Gordon Parker, Jr.; and two sisters, Gladys Bell and Ruby White. Survivors include her son, Wilson Enfinger and wife, Linda of Tallahassee; stepdaughter Terry Pope and husband Wilke of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren Patrick Enfinger, Mary-Margaret Enfinger, Tracie Enfinger, and Becky Harrison, all of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchild, Zachary Enfinger of Tallahassee; a nephew, Harry Bell, Jr.; and three nieces, Sharon Mason, Brenda Evans and Royce Anna White.

Funeral services will be held today, August 24, 2010 at 11:00 O'clock A.M. at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home, with Dr. Shannon Eads officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice of Tallahassee, 1723-1 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308, or to the First Baptist Church of Marianna, 2897 Green Street, Marianna, FL 32146.

A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
